.....getting your Domain Name!

The first thing we need to do is get you a domain name and site hosting. If you already have these just skip to step two. There are many hosting companies available.Host Monster is around $90 for a full year with domain registration included, and we use them personally. It's an easy 15 minute process, and we can assist you if you need help but recommend the owner of a website purchase their own hosting so we don't need to transfer any info after we turn the site over to you. When registering your domain just write down all user names and passwords as we'll need them to build your site.

Host Monster has incredible customer service 24/7 and they don't outsource service reps. Also they are pleasant to deal with, which makes a huge difference to us. They offer Joomla extensions, Ruby on Rails, E-carts options, database services, and free email. They also include good analytic tools so we can see when and who's visiting your site, check click through and conversion rates, etc.

We can use any hosting company you prefer. If you already have a domain name and want to add a second one or re-route traffic to a different address just let us know and we'll be happy to help you with it.

With that being said, please take a look at our Web Worksheet, and try to answer as many of the questions as you can. This is the info we'll need from you to begin your project. Then submit the online form so we can start discussing your project. Call us any time you need help answering a question, we do this everyday and don't expect you to know all the answers we're happy to explain anything your unsure about to make sure your site fits your needs. Then we'll come to you for a free, on site meet and review to make sure we've covered everything and to answer any questions. book an appointment

While we meet, if you'd like us to take any photos (free of charge while on site) of your store, company vehicles, smiling employees, etc, just let us know. If you have any documents (such as price sheets and product lists), information, files, or any art work we'll take them at this time. We'll also set a start and finish date so you'll know when to expect your finished site, basic sites take 1-2 weeks to complete.

...about payments

Before starting any work we require a 50% deposit to secure our services.

We accept cash, checks, Visa & Mastercard, or paypal, balance is due upon completion.

Now we show you what your site will look like...

...unless you've pre selected a design, in which case we'll let you know when it's done.

This is the time to let me know what you think and we'll make all necessary changes.
Upon your approval we implement the design on the "interweb" (web-master humor) and launch your site, make it fully functional, and optimize for multiple browsers, screen sizes, and search engine optimization.

During this process please call us anytime with changes or "gee I just remembered" In most cases there won't be too much of that because we do such a thorough job of assessing your goals. But if there is anything at this time, no problem. There's always a redo button, and if there's not that's O. K. We've saved everything twice and in two places, we don't mind doing something over or scraping an idea that you don't like. We know things change over time we don't mind going that extra mile to make your site look good.

The hand off...

We'll contact you as soon as we are finished so you can review your new Website to see if we can make any final changes. We are not done until you are fully satisfied and completely happy with your site, but because we do such a thorough job of assessing and reviewing, were usually good at this stage!

Upon completion we'll give you a hand off sheet and email with your receipt. This will include all information that you will need to make any changes, access and control your site.
